Sensei Ray Tio
Was introduced to karate in 1983 by his step-father, Ignatius Holidaya, 4th Dan, who was a brown belt student at The Toronto JKA.
Attained his Shodan (1st degree black belt) in 1986 at the age of 11 from the late Master Nakayama, 10th Dan.
Attained his Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in 1990 from Master Okazaki, 9th Dan, and Master Yaguchi, 8th Dan.
Attained his Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in 1993 from Master Okazaki and Master Yaguchi.
Attained his Yondan ( 4th degree black belt) in 1997 from Master Yaguchi.
Attained Godan (5th degree black belt) in 2009 from Master Ueki, Master Tanaka, and Master Osaka.
Attained Rokudan (6th degree black belt) in 2019 from Master Ueki.
